Registration Fee

An annual registration fee of $45.00 per family is charged to cover administrative costs such as mailings, insurance, handbooks, and rehearsals. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Tuition Policy

Tuition fees cover participation for one individual in a weekly dance lesson (32 weeks) and a costume for the year-end Gala. If you are registering late, your fees will be pro-rate.


Full tuition may be paid by cash, e-transfer, credit card or cheques at the time of registration.

 

Installment payments are available through auto-pay in your Parent Portal or post-dated cheques.  

 

​All installment payments are due by 20th of the month.

​

There is a $75.00 fee for NSF cheques.

Products and Services not included in Tuition
 

​Other products and services may be offered to customers for additional fees.  These include studio wear, dancewear, shoes, recital tickets, photos, private lessons, or special events (I.E. Workshops, Master Classes, etc).
 

​Studio Policies 

  • Parents and students are not to interrupt a class in session.

  • Food, drinks, or gum are not allowed in the studio. Dancers may bring a water bottle.

  • Students and parents are not to contact instructors directly either by phone, email, or direct messaging. Any questions or concerns should be raised directly with the receptionist or through the studio email or phone number. 

  • Do not speak negatively about instructors, students, or parents from any studio.

  • Do not recruit students from other studios.

  • Respect the shared spaces (hallways, restrooms etc.) and other businesses surrounding the studio.

  • All students must show respect for their instructor at all times

Social Media Policy 

Use of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogging, and other online social media platforms is an important part of sharing our growth and engagement with the community. This policy is intended to provide Just Dance parents and dancers with use these guidelines to eliminate any confusion concerning the use of social media.

  • We encourage parents and dancers to engage and promote their positive experiences at  Just Dance on Social Media.  We will communicate in a professional manner and expect all parents and dancers will do the same. We will post photos/videos from special events and classes.

  • You DO NOT have permission to reveal any information that compromises Just Dance, its staff or any of its customers.

  • You MUST NOT share personal information on social media about the director, Just Dance staff, other students or their families, or anything that is proprietary and/or confidential to them or Just Dance.

  • You cannot claim or imply that they are speaking on behalf of Just Dance.

  • You must never post anything that could compromise the self-esteem of students who attend Just Dance.

  • If you choose to post videos of class or rehearsals, you must not post classes or choreography in their entirety; Just Dance owns the copyright to all classes and choreography.

  • You must not post negative comments about studio activities such as competitions, conventions, and performances or about the directors of those events.

 

​Attendance Policy 

All dancers are expected to attend their regularly scheduled classes.
If your dancer will not be attending class for any reason, we ask that you notify the studio by 3:00 pm the day of. At which time we will make the necessary arrangements for your dancer to attend class through our Online Studio.


Each class offers a step forward in the educational process. A missed class could leave a dancer behind the other students. During the months of February through April, choreography for the recital will be taught and rehearsed. It is important for dancers to feel completely confident with the choreography that will be performed at the year-end Gala.

 

Media Use Rights and Permission 

​I give my consent and agree that  Just Dance and its agents have the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings of my child or myself, and to use these in any and all media, now and hereafter known. I do hereby release to Just Dance, and its agents all rights to exhibit this work in print and electronic form publicly or privately and to use its form for marketing. I waive any rights, claims, or interest I may have to control the use of my, or my child(ren)’s identity or likeness in whatever media used. I understand that my, or my child(ren)’s name will be kept private and not be released in any written form. I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for recording me, either for initial or subsequent transmission or playback.

Waiver of Liability 

​I give my consent for her/him to participate in the programs at Just Dance. I understand that participation in dance, tumbling, stretching and other related activities may result in injuries. I am fully aware of the risks and possibility of injury involved in these activities and assume full responsibility for such risks.  I understand that it is Just Dance’s intent to provide for the safety and protection of me and/or my child or children, and in consideration, for allowing myself and/or the above-named minor child(ren) to participate in activities with Just Dance I waive any and all rights or causes of action against Tracy Lowe and/or Just Dance for any injuries suffered by my child(ren) and other damages suffered my child(ren) or myself while under the supervision or control of Just Dance and its employees and independent contractors. Agreement to all waivers is included on your dancer(s) registration form.

Dress Code Requirements

Just Dance maintains a dress code to encourage concentration and a sense of inclusiveness. Uniformity in dancewear allows the instructors to assess how well the students are implementing the technique being taught, problems with alignment, and other important aspects of dance training. Uniform requirements are outlined in our handbook our App. 

​Dancers will also need to purchase a Prop Bag, from the studio. This bag will be designed for your dancer's class and will include such things as barre covers, Thera bands, a yoga block etc. This will ensure that dancers are not sharing items at the studio.

Dancers should carry their dancewear, shoes, and other belongings in a dance bag. Please print your dancer’s name on the bag as well as on all of its contents.

  • Dance shoes should never be worn outside.

  • Dancers should wear their hair tightly secured and styled away from the face; a neat bun is preferred.

  • Dancewear is to be kept in good repair and laundered on a regular basis.

  • Watches, jewelry, and safety pins should not be worn to class.
