Bailee's Dance Journey

Bailee's began dancing at the age of two and started competing when she five. Her love for dance led her to continue training and competing throughout high school and into university, where she performed on a varsity dance team. Over the years, she has trained in many styles, with Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz becoming her favourites to perform.

Her Inspirations
One of Bailee's most inspiring teachers was someone who came to dance later in life and chose to keep learning and growing. Watching her step outside of her comfort zone showed Bailee that passion and dedication can create meaningful opportunities at any stage of life. She learned that being a great teacher means staying open to learning, inspiring others, and sharing a love for dance.

Her Education
Bailee's dance experience includes performing in halftime shows for the Toronto Raptors, Harlem Globetrotters, and Toronto Argonauts alongside her studio. She also performed at the Youth Dance Festival in Toronto and competed at the varsity level with the Ontario Tech University Dance Team. She served as Team Captain for two years, and in 2025 became Head Coach, gaining valuable leadership and mentoring experience.

Her Teaching Style
Bailee began teaching dance in high school as a teacher's assistant before moving on to teach her own classes. She has choreographed for dancers of all ages and enjoys teaching Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, and Lyrical. She creates a positive, supportive classroom where dancers feel encouraged to grow in both confidence and skill.

What She Expects
Bailee encourages dancers to come to class ready to focus, work hard, and try their best. She vaules kindness, respect, teamwork, and a willingness to challenge yourself. She reminds her dancers that
growth takes time, and every small step forward matters.

Why She Loves Teaching
Bailee loves watching her choreography come to life as dancers bring their own energy, artistry, and personality to the stage. One of her favourite parts of teaching is seeing dancers rediscover their love for dance and gain confidence they didn't know they had. She enjoys helping students grow as both dancers and people.

Bailee's Message
Dance has been such an important part of Bailee's life, and she feels lucky to share that passion with students. Her goal is to create a space where dancers feel supported, inspired, and excited to learn. She hopes every dancer leaves her class feeling confident, proud, and full of joy.
